Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 76-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Charles Fields.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Stab Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Charles Edwards.
