Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old female that occurred at an embankment.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Maricella Montijo and listed her race/ethnicity as Hispanic + White/Caucasian.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
