(L.A.) Alisamarie Pedroza, 21, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Alisamarie Pedroza.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Combined Duloxetine, Bupropion, and Fluoxetine Toxicity

RIP ALISAMARIE GABRIELA PEDROZA (November 20, 2003 – July 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Fluoxetine is the generic name of Prozac. Bupropion is medication commonly prescribed for depression.

At some point, the FDA required black-box warnings for anti-depressants because of the apparently increased risk of suicidal ideation, particularly in younger people.
