The coroner’s office identified the man as Demetric Williams. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine and Phencyclidine

Other Significant Condition: Hypertension

RIP DEMETRIC WILLIAMS (July 31, 1987 – June 13, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-August, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
