(L.A.) Stacey Darden, 54, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Stacey Darden.

Height: 5 feet 3 inches / Weight: 150 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Inhalation of Products of Combustion and Thermal Injuries

RIP STACEY ELIZABETH DARDEN (May 19, 1970 – January 12, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent was in contact with her family on January 8. Her last known location was the 2000 block of North Marengo Avenue, in the unincorporated area of Altadena. She was believed to have been displaced by the Eaton fire and possibly evacuated, so she was reported to be a missing person.

As it turned out, she had expired in her home from the fire.
