Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anthony Tolliver.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Hypertensive Stroke

Cause of Death B: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:47 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
