(L.A.) Julie Hobbs, 65, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Julie Hobbs.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Heroin, Codeine, and Alprazolam

RIP JULIE HOBBS (January 27, 1960 – June 1, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
