Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Asian female that occurred at a funeral home.

The coroner’s office has identified the young woman as Cici Mao.

Cause of Death: Diabetic Ketoacidosis

Diabetic ketoacidosis is a dangerous complication of diabetes where the body runs out of insulin, causing blood sugar and acid levels to become dangerously high.
