(L.A.) Yoni Tunche Dieguez, 19, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Yoni Tunche Dieguez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The decedent was fatally injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened at around 4:15 a.m. at the intersection of West Redondo Beach Boulevard and Broadway Street, on the border of West Rancho Dominguez and Gardena.

Tunche is a distinctly Guatemalan surname. Yoni and Dieguez could also be associated with the country of Honduras.
