(L.A.) Minor Aguilar Garcia, 40, Died After Falling into Tujunga Wash

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male that occurred at the Tujunga Wash.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Minor Aguilar Garcia.

Height: 5 feet 9 inches / Weight: 160 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Blunt-Force Trauma of Head, Neck, and Torso

Cause of Death B: Fall From Height (Approximately 15–18 Feet) onto Concrete Floor

Other Significant Conditions: Acute Ethanol and Cocaine Intoxication and History of Drug Abuse

RIP MINOR E. AGUILAR GARCIA (January 24, 1985 – May 20, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

The decedent was drunk and high on coke when he fell to the ground, which was a concrete surface.

Tujunga Wash is a 13-mile-long stream that is a tributary of the Los Angeles River.

Ouziel, 56 of North Hollywood, lost control of her Cadillac, crashed through two fences, swerved off of Magnolia Boulevard in the neighborhood of Sherman Village, and landed upside down in the wash. Ouziel, who suffered head injuries, was sent to St. Joseph Medical Center for treatment.
