(L.A.) Ty’Iana Pierce, 20, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Ty’Iana Pierce.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Stab Wound of the Abdomen

RIP TY’IANA PIERCE (August 12, 2004 – May 11, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 4:08 p.m.

At around 3:29 p.m., LAPD had responded to an “ADW Cutting” call at 339 East 82nd Street, between San Pedro and Towne. The deadly weapon in the assault was described as an edged weapon.

The decedent was not homeless.
