Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert Childers.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Heroin Toxicity

RIP ROBERT CHILDERS (December 24, 1953 – December 19, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:26 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published around August 1, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
