Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 91-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Jeanette Devenish.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death A: Myocardial Ischemia
Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Protein Malnutrition, Clostridium difficile Colitis, Vascular Dementia, Traumatic Periprosthetic Femur Fracture, and Open Reduction and Internal Fixation of Femur

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:41 a.m.
The decedent sustained a fracture of the femur (thigh bone) near or around a prosthetic implant. She then underwent surgical treatment for the femur fracture. The bone fragments were surgically exposed (open reduction), realigned, and stabilized with internal devices such as rods, plates, or screws.
