(L.A.) Katherine Devcich, 44, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Katherine Devcich.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine

Other Significant Conditions: Lupus Erythematosus, Chronic Kidney Disease

RIP KATHERINE DEVCICH (June 30, 1980 – May 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:52 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in July, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
