Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Black male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lorenzo Young.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Congestive Heart Failure

Cause of Death B: Hypertension

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease; Asthma; Chronic Tobacco Smoking; Chronic Kidney Disease

RIP LORENZO YOUNG (May 28, 1953 – April 26, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:55 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 1.
