Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 13-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the young teen as Hai’Lee Savage.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

RIP HAI’LEE SAVAGE (May 5, 2011 – April 13, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 4:05 p.m.

The decedent was apparently the girl who was shot in Green Meadows Friday night.

LAPD said the shooting happened in the 700 block of East 108th Street at around 7:38 p.m.

She was taken to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries two days later.
