Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the infant girl as Onyx Ramsey.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Suffocation

Cause of Death C: Unsafe Sleep Environment and Co-Sleeping

Other Significant Conditions: Upper Respiratory Infection, Human Metapneumovirus and Human Rhinovirus/Enterovirus (Nasopharyngeal), and History of Prematurity, Spasticity, and Ischemic Encephalopathy
