(L.A.) Pinchas Rosenberg, 49, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Pinchas Rosenberg.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Mitragynine Toxicity

RIP PINCHAS ROSENBERG (June 22, 1975 – April 12, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:59 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 23, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Mitragynine is the most abundant active alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.
