(L.A.) Israel Castaneda, 35, Died in Palmdale

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Hispanic male that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Israel Castaneda.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:15 p.m.
A jury convicted Latrell Pratt of murder and possession of a firearm by a felon and found true the allegation that he personally and intentionally discharged a firearm causing the death of Israel Castaneda. The trial court sentenced Pratt to 25 years to life, plus 25 years to life for the firearm enhancement.
