(L.A.) Jeffrey Burk, 61, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jeffery Burk.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Myocardial Ischemia

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Ethanol Abuse

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:49 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s forename as Jeffery.
