(L.A.) Shaun Gilbert, 38, Died at a Wash Basin

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a wash basin.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Shaun Gilbert.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol Toxicity

RIP SHAUN AARON GILBERT (February 23, 1987 – March 10, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:46 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.
