Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Black male that occurred on a bus.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andre Anderson.

Born in San Bernardino County. Mother’s maiden name is Dunbar.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:49 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 23, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent had a very extensive rap sheet that included robbery, trespassing, multiple thefts and multiple assaults. His most recent arrest by the LAPD was on January 15 for a battery.
