Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Javier Gastelum.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

RIP JAVIER GASTELUM (January 31, 1975 – March 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:53 a.m.

The decedent was fatally injured in a five-vehicle crash in South Gate.
