(L.A.) Deauwand Myers, 45, Died at a Church

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Black male that occurred at a church.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Deauwand Myers.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Toxicity

RIP DEAUWAND MYERS (July 26, 1979 – March 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:45 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 17.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
