Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Asian male that occurred in an office.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Wilbert Yap.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP WILBERT YAP (December 22, 1955 – December 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:32 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
