(L.A.) Carlos Vasquez, 38, Died From a Meth OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Vasquez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP CARLOS VASQUEZ (July 7, 1986 – November 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 9:00 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
