(L.A.) Lisa Thornton, 49, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Lisa Thornton.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus, Right Foot Cellulitis

RIP LISA THORNTON (March 6, 1975 – December 4, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:43 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

This was probably either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
