(L.A.) Israel Martinez, 31, Died From Illicit Drug Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Israel Martinez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP ISRAEL MARTINEZ (May 31, 1993 – November 3, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:46 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
