(L.A.) Cynthia Ojeda, 31, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Cynthia Ojeda.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Effects

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine and Methamphetamine Use

RIP CYNTHIA OJEDA (October 10, 1993 – October 31, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:31 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
