(L.A.) Jackie Campbell, 44, Died in Transitional Housing

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Black female that occurred in transitional housing.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Jackie Campbell.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine and Phencyclidine Toxicity

RIP JACKIE CAMPBELL (March 5, 1980 – October 15, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:15 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
