(L.A.) Hiroe Akaike, 82, Died at a Flight Gate

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 82-year-old Asian female that occurred at a flight gate.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Hiroe Akaike.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Insufficiency

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: History of Alzheimer’s Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Initially, the government investigator gave the place of death as a “shop” before later changing it to a flight gate.
