(L.A.) Antolin Jimenez, 48, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Antolin Jimenez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Obesity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
