(L.A.) Bobby Trotter, 31, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Bobby Trotter.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine

Other Significant Condition: Recent Ethanol Use

RIP BOBBY TROTTER (August 8, 1993 – September 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:32 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 23, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
