(L.A.) Christopher Garcia, 16, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 16-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Christopher Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Head Trauma

RIP CHRISTOPHER GARCIA (July 14, 2008 – September 3, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:24 p.m.

The decedent was a South East High junior varsity football player who was injured after making a tackle during a game on August 23.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Christopher Garcia” in local government records.
