(L.A.) Christopher Ruiz, 45, Died on 4th & La Brea

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christopher Ruiz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Alcohol Intoxication

RIP CHRISTOPHER RUIZ (February 17, 1979 – September 9, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:23 a.m.

The decedent was found unresponsive at around 11:15 a.m. near Fourth Street and La Brea Avenue in the Hancock Park / Miracle Mile area of the city.
