(L.A.) Randy Norwood, 56, Died in a Nursing Home

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred in a nursing home.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Randy Norwood.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: History of Alcoholic Liver Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Diabetes Mellitus, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:11 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on December 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
