(L.A.) Micheal Worrell, 64, Died From Natural Causes

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Micheal Worrell.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP MICHEAL WORRELL (March 29, 1960 – September 5, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:50 a.m.

The decedent was found lifeless after his vehicle had slammed into a fire hydrant in Ladera Heights.

California Highway Patrol said they heard about the crash at 3:13 a.m. and their officers responded to West Slauson and Corning avenues, where they found the victim unresponsive inside a gold Chevy Malibu.

Note that the government investigator spelled the decedent’s forename as Micheal and not Michael.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 20, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
