Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joseph Buenrostro.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Torso

RIP JOSEPH BUENROSTRO (May 7, 1991 – September 4, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:42 p.m.

The decedent was shot at around 9:29 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Fetterly Avenue between Telegraph Road and East Olympic Boulevard in East LA.
