(L.A.) Dodie Stephenson, 30, Died From a Polydrug Overdose

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old female that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Dodie Stephenson and listed her race/ethnicity as Hispanic.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Gurule.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, Cocaine, Bromazolam Toxicity

RIP DODIE DAWN STEPHENSON (October 21, 1993 – August 31, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 3:47 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on November 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
