(L.A.) Gregory Brown, 63, Died From an OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Gregory Brown.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: History of Hypertension

RIP GREGORY BROWN (April 5, 1961 – August 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:20 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late December, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
