(L.A.) Richard Whitfield, 39, Died From Gunshots

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Black male that occurred at a business.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Richard Withfield.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP RICHARD WITHFIELD (March 14, 1985 – August 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:02 p.m.

The government investigator had initially misspelled the decedent’s surname as Withfield.
