The coroner’s office identified the woman as Cassandra Young.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: History of Uterine Cancer

RIP CASSANDRA YOUNG (January 18, 1963 – August 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 3:20 p.m.

The county had the decedent’s body cremated on October 18.
