(L.A.) Rodolfo Pelayo, 43, Died in a Storage Container

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred in a storage container.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rodolfo Pelayo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Alcohol, Methamphetamine, and Fentanyl

RIP RODOLFO PELAYO (April 23, 1981 – August 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:45 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early January, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
