(L.A.) Donovan Alvis, 34, Died in Jail

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in jail.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Donovan Alvis.

Blonde hair / Green eyes

Height: 5 feet 7 inches / Weight: 175 pounds

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Ischemic Heart Disease

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease

RIP DONOVAN SCOTT ALVIS (April 5, 1990 – July 21, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:35 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

The decedent was found lifeless in the living area of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility (TTCF) at 450 Bauchet Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

He had a very long rap sheet that included drug possession. He was serving a felony sentence.
