(L.A.) Yonathan Duran Ezquivel, 39, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Yonathan Duran Ezquivel.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 4:00 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 5, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
