(L.A.) Newton Ricard, 80, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 80-year-old male that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Newton Ricard and listed his race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian + Black.
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
RIP NEWTON RICARD (July 28, 1943 – July 6, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:14 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 23, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
