(L.A.) Brenda Mejia, 22, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Brenda Mejia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

RIP BRENDA MEJIA (January 15, 2002 – July 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:09 a.m.

The decedent was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash in the Willowbrook community of unincorporated Los Angeles County.

California Highway Patrol said the crash was caused by a drunk driver who suffered moderate injuries and was arrested.
