Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Latino male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Cervantes.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP CARLOS CERVANTES (October 7, 1973 – July 2, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:19 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
