Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a two-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on camping grounds.

The coroner’s office has identified the child as Merida Castillo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:01 p.m.

The incident happened at the Dockweiler Beach RV Park. There was a report of a girl being accidentally run over by a vehicle driven by a family member.
