Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male that occurred on a bus.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mario Vargas Jr.

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:01 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
